The new Ripley Town Mayor for 2011/2012 is Cllr Michael Missett, who is 64 years of age and married to Pamela. Michael has lived in Ripley for the past 25 years and is now retired but worked for the Environment Agency and it’s predecessors for 44 years. Michael is involved with various local organisations, including Ripley Morris Men, Ripley Twinning Association and Chair of Governors for Ripley Junior School.
